Coleco Holdings has abandoned its plans to launch a cartridge-based retrogaming console, severing ties with the designers of the Coleco Chameleon after a series of public gaffes and missteps.

So to start out 2016 we had the Dreamcast 2 and now we have the Coleco Chameleon. Mike Kennedy launched a Indiegogo starter for a console that run run cartridge based games in the retro style for the low, low price of $300.

The motherboard turned out be a capture card. As soon as the public found that out they instantly removed the photo from their facebook page.

The original funding goal of the Chameleon was $2,000,000

Wasn't this discovered a couple weeks ago?
Not like it matters anyway, whoever kept trusting those guys after they tried to pass a reshelled SNES Jr. as a new console deserves to be scammed. A fool and his money are soon parted.
