Gaming Code not valid

A few days ago I bought a 12 month subscription to Xbox Live on eBay from this guy. He sent me the code via e-mail but the code doesn't work.

I asked him to send me a scan of the card, and he did. But the code was the same and still didn't work.

THEN I asked him what was wrong and to try the code on his Xbox, to see if it's still valid, and he says "yes it's valid and unused".

I mailed Microsoft, but I'm not expecting anything.


So, fellow tempers, I asked you this: What wrong with the code? What should I do?

He says on eBay that the codes work on European consoles, and last time I checked, Portugal is in Europe.

Assuming it's an EU code I'd assume it'd work in portugal, if it's not it's either invalid or another region.

You could always give it to me if it fails to work!

I got my last code off a guy called jasper1675 on ebay, he seems to run www.jasper1675.com now.
