Yeah, so both of these titles hit PC last night and I'm contemplating which to play over the coming few days. I'm pretty busy (I study and work part-time) so I'll only have time for one of them. Which one would you who've played these games on 360 or whatever say is the most entertaining to play?

GoW has better single player and COD4 better multi. IMO anyway.

Yeah, I played CoD and CoD2 back in the day and was never much of a fan of the single player campaigns. Granted it might have been the copy paste WWII setting that ruined it for me (WWII is so utterly uninspiring... imo), but...

Single player in COD4 is still really good. Very short but it's like being in a movie. The modern setting is good too, was getting so sick of WW2 crap.

Go for CoD4. The multiplayer is amazing, I was in the beta. I haven't picked it up yet but i've heard very good things about the singleplayer too.

I hear ya bro...I can't believe how many freaking WWII and Vietnam and yadda yadda games we have. In another couple years, we're sure to see a whole library of "War on Terrorism" games....

I doubt it. It's not really a war and it's irrelevant to the majority of the world.

If you're talking about pirating one of these games, go for Gears.

Hm, this seems like a worthwhile discussion, so why is it in the testing forum?
