Hacking cMIOS GC backup launcher

Miospatcher.....So which version is best, some say version 4 some say version 8 then press x then a to install. What is the differences? Also by pressing x does that mean it will allow a wii backup launcher to execute gamecube games also?...like neogamma or wiigator? Also if I already had version 5 installed without pressing x can I install version 8 or 4 over it?

I only know from another member of this forum that v4 has Action Replay support. Don't know the others. But i use v8 and had only a few issues untill now.
