You don't need to modify anything I can see on your screenshot you are browsing flash0:/, so I was wondering just to make sure if you don't open flash0:/ and go straight to FTP, does this error still show up?
Yes, the error shows up if I go straight to FTP, the image shows flash0:/ because I wondered it wasn´t mounted in the file manager, but it was.

Edit: I have formatted my PSP and installed everything again, now the FTP connection works.
It´s not the best option to do but it worked for me.

I just came to say a big thanks for creating this wonderful tool! :)
I needed a file manager which can rename files in order to change between my gameboots without actually using a PC (I know there is a MyRandomGameboot plugin but it doesn't work as well as I thought). Also the familiar interface is quite a nice bonus as well.

Well the one thing I've been meaning to do is clean this up and switch to c++. I do have some local changes that haven't been pushed to git. Apart from that, there isn't much going on with this project.

Please add support for txt files?

I'll be releasing a beta build of the up-coming re-write shortly (this weekend at most). Code has been completely re-implemented in C++, with a lot of enhancements here and there. Some features such as audio playback and zip extraction will be left out and re-implemented at a later time. However you can expect something new for now.

Release v4.0.0:

This update is a re-written/implementation of CMFileManager in C++, making use of the recent changes to the toolchain (gcc updates, newlib, libstdc++, etc). Currently audio playback has not been re-implemented, and may be re-introduced at a later update. There are major changes in both the UI and the general codebase of this update. It is recommended to update to this version to minimize bugs from previous releases.

I'm new to the PSP scene, when trying to boot this the app instantly crashes and returns to VSH for me. All other homebrew boots fine. What could be the issue?

Are you using a PSP Go? Also do you have any plugins running on your PSP. Do you know what CFW you're on?

Yep, it's a Go (I'm using 4.01 for the Go from your GitHub). I only have 3 plugins: category_lite (VSH), cdda_enabler (POPS) and popsloader (POPS). My system is 6.60 running Pro-C Infinity. Thanks for the reply!

Works great for me! First time using a file manager on PSP and works as expected.

I saw you can even edit files, for example rom files, like md (Sega Genesis). The application ask you if you want to save any modification.

Great job and thanks for sharing :)

Release v4.1.0:

This is a major update that reimplements audio player, game launcher and some well needed improvements. This will be last major update for this application. There will no longer be any feature drops, as the project will go under only maintenance mode (bug fixes and slight improvements if necessary). Please note, there are two releases. One is for a regular PSP's and other is for PSP Go with an external SD (M2) card. If you do not have an external memory stick in your PSP Go, you can use the regular version. Merry Christmas everyone :)

Just installed this and wanted to say thank you for such a beautiful file manager. Will there be support for more characters in the file manager? I noticed that (R) and TM characters (possibly more) in a file name result in the file name being cropped at that character location -- no idea if that affects the copy/paste/move operations (did not want to risk corrupting my SD card).

By doesn't work what exactly do you mean? Does the app not open or is it just the text editor?
