Clicking on a link in "Favorites" opens in a new window

I've recorded a video of the problem, too:

When clicking on a link in libraries (Such as downloads or recent places) it opens it in a new window. It randomly started doing this. I'm running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.

and in view tab, there is a option there that may be what you are looking for

I looked and can't find anything. I did restore defaults, too, and it didn't fix it. They were working 100% fine yesterday.

I took the fuckers advice on sevenforums:

Hi, if you go in regedit
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Folder\shell and you see OPEN in right pane that's wrong. Double click the key and delete open.

Try again.

and it made it worse. Clicking on my downloads opens it in adobe bridge

and clicking on anything else says

No. The registry is from 5/13/2016, 3 days before anything bad happened

But nothing still works.
