My Wii's IOSes are all screwed up, I think, because in my efforts of uninstalling cIOScorp I ran IOS downgrader, that thing that lets you change your sys menu version and then I installed a .wad of IOS9.

cIOScorp is gone (I think) but my wii has become slow, unresponsive, the settings menu doesn't load some times and I get a "Wii system files corrupt" message once in a while that does nothing because a simple turn on/off fixes it.

So I'm looking for the safest way to make my Wii normal again while keeping my saved games and channels.

And I also want to keep certain things necessary for homebrew, like the patched IOS60 (for launching wads from SD), cIOS rev9 (which is what I use), patched mIOS (for GC backups) and DVDX. (not sure if I'm missing anything else)

    Can anyone help me?

    Hi,

If you download this tool from homebrew browser called: SignCheck

it will tell you all your installed modified IOS' and it can help you to show what's installed.

Try that first and post in details to let everyone know the easiest way to remove.

BTW Just keep pressing reset then it will make an excel file. Open the excel file and it will show you everything.

    Copy and paste that..

Sorryy I think i'm not talking right.

The easiest way to get your IOS's back in order would be to do an update through Nintendo. This will take you to 4.1, but if you really feel like downgrading again after that you could, even though there's not much point to doing so.

Just do an official upadte through the nintendo servers. That will overwrite any cIOS modules and put official ones in their place.
