Classic PC game "System Shock 2" to get enhanced edition
System Shock, a franchise that's on the cusp of its 25th anniversary, is currently undergoing a revival period. First, Nightdive Studios announced that it would be remaking the original System Shock game, which released in 1994 for DOS. Then, we saw a reveal for System Shock 3, now in development by OtherSide Entertainment. That's not all for the series, though, as System Shock 2 will get its own time in the spotlight, in order to celebrate 20 years since its original release. Nightdive Studios will be releasing System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition, and it'll be "coming soon". There's not any information as to what the enhanced edition featurelist will be, though it can be assumed that it'll likely entail better graphics, bugfixes, and other minor additions, which is a welcome sight for a retro game that helped have an impact on the gaming world through the likes of Deus Ex and Bioshock.
