Has anyone managed to mod their classic controller to plug into the Gamecube port.

Just been playing the snes, megadrive, nes, GBA combined emulator on the Wii and I wished I could use my Classic Controller.

I have ordered a gamecube to ps2 converter but I prefer the classic controller and I have also seen the snes/nes pad conversions.

But as I said I prefer the Classic controller and they don't sell the above conversions in the UK.

Found a schematic on the gamecube controller, anyone with modding skills could probably do it from the information and make a pretty penny.

Haven't tried any of them yet, but I will probably pick up some cables soon.

Also... there's a SNES/MegaDrive/NES/GBA combined emulator on the Wii? What's it called? >_>

Dude, I'd be the first to rip up my classic controller, but I was smart enough not to buy one. If I ever come accross one for real cheap, I'll try it.

if it could be modified for I²C instead of SNES protocol it would be easy. AFAIK, the ATmega8 should be well capable of I²C mastering.
