accurate shaders are only needed on a few games and it comes at a performance cost not looking forward to citras first speed hack ;-; wish there was a better way, but accurate shaders kill performance on intel and they are 40% of the user base.

couple pages ago ppl said vanguard still haven't any proper good build. Maybe upcoming gpu render release will have fixes tho. Dunno.

Just a heads up. On your latest release, MHXX crash when trying to start a mission. It's the output buffer size not match thingy, so it's already on github I guess.



I wonder when we'll see the gpu update w/ MP support for MHXX, I'm hyped ! Thanks for the hard work folk.

i'm currently fixing multiplayer to get it merged into nightly. then it won't ever disappear again. this is one of 3 prs that we are going to merge before we push glvtx live.

checklist before glvtx and how long it'll take:
* merge texture cache - DONE
* merge multiplayer - ???
* merge clang format - EASY
* finish blog post - 80% DONE
* find someone to pr the changes - ???

The people who wrote the original hardware renderer aren't currently contributing. So we don't have many experienced opengl devs right now. I'm not going to let it rot just because we don't have anyone that is experienced enough...

Not sure if that or actually submitting the pr will take more time. I've already put 15 hours into the blog post. It just needs someone technical to review it and I'm missing a few graphs.

Do people not realize that anyone can write an article? "We" don't have a dedicated writer at all. Anodium just volunteered to write blog posts and we merge them after review. She doesn't particularly like writing, but she is studying computer stuff and is using this as an opportunity to learn more.
