I'm having similar problems with all the games I've tried recently. After playing for a while (maybe not as long as two hours) the wiimote loses sync and/or the game start running really, really slow. If I can get the game to respond to the home button to bring up the menu then the wiimote works OK on that (no evidence of slowdown), but returning to the game brings the problem back. I have to restart the wii to get it working properly again.
Setup: cIOS249[56]-v21d2x6 & cfgUSB 69c (using all default settings: ios reload block - on for all games) FAT32 partition (had sync problem with cIOSx rev21, but now fixed). It happens with games that need ISO reload blocking and games that don't.
I haven't tried with IOS reload blocking off for those that don't need it or been able to pinpoint the exact version where it started. It wasn't a problem I noticed prior to the IOS reload blocking, but as it takes so long before happening I can't be sure.
i had an issue with games crashing after an hour or so playing once upon a time (the problem was actually the reason i created an account here at gbatemp)...on a computer the drive worked fine....ultimately, it ended up being a HDD problem....not saying this IS what your problem is, but don't rule it out....(my HDD crash was accompanied by drive noise, but i doubt it has too. also, i could avoid the crash with a jump to the system menu, but i'd have to power the wii down/up before it would let me play games again)

i confirmed the HDD issue by downloading/running a HDD diagnostic tool (DataLifeGuard i think...)....luckily, it was under warranty...RMA'd it and have been smiling ever since (i've since setup, outgrew, and sold off ~6 drives for my wii...haven't had a problem other that first one)

Guys, I'm totally lost trying desperately to get COD 3 running with cfg usbloader. I used modwii method to get 249d2x(56)v4 then installed it and set the ios blocking function enabled in game option but cfg usbloader always say the chosen ios is not supported for blocking function so did I miss something here?

I have v6 installed and am using a ntfs partition with a mkw backup installed. I can't seem to play in races that I don't host online. Is this a problem with the loader or my connection?

That's a problem with your connection.
Try enabling a "DMZ" on your router. Or open up all port for your Wii IP adress inside your router.
Better open up a new thread or use the search function for this one....

yea, download d2x v6 from the first post, then follow the instructions, but basically copy the files to wherever ModMii (not ModWii) is saved then modules\d2x-beta\

then ModMii will build d2x v6 cIOSs instead of v4

The next ModMii update will build v6 cIOSs
Yeah, I tried what you told me by copying d2x-beta folder overwritten the one in ModMii folder but when I run ModMii to download the d2x cios, it shows many errors when downloading files and also the final table shows invalid next to each of d2x cios. By the way, I still don't get the reason why I should install these d2x cios on ios 236 since cfg usbloader doesn't allow me to to choose it for running games

Who mentioned 236 as a slot for installation? 249 should be slot to be used for cIOS installation, as slot 236 is just the means of being able to install it... Close ModMii, try emptying all your ModMii temp's folder and also COPY_TO_SD, to start ModMii again from scratch.

that's your problem, there's prolly a module in there that shouldn't be, deleting the d2x-beta folder then creating a fresh one with the d2x v6 files should fix u right up

Thanks you so much for your effort helping xflak, I downloaded the zip file in the first post, extract it and found bunch of app with a bat file. Now, what should I do with these, I tried to run the bat file but it didn't do anything

If you having this much of a problem understanding modmii just use the second method to install instead, the d2x cIOS Installer v2.0 (Download)

Just put the files in a map called 'd2x-beta' under 'modules'. Don't execute the .bat file, just ignore it.

Now when you run ModMii it will offer you the new d2x files you just put in instead of the ones it gets online (v4 I believe) when you go to cIOS download page. Hit 'rec' and you'll have a default setup.

Actually I tried this method it seems doesn't do anything to the ios used in cfg usbload which is in my case always is as following
IOS249 Base: 52 d2x v4 (r21004)
IOS250 Base: 58 d2x v4 (r21004)
Anyway, I just want to play COD 3 off USB (I even tried burning it to DVD and load the game with neogama but failed) so really really appreciate anyone could help me out since I'm damn lost in this

I can get to the game menu, select the new game, choose the difficulty, the stars loading arch shows up in the low right corner and started loading then the screen show up some words like it requires nunchuck to play the game which is only last 1 second before disappear and leave me with this oblivion black screen, anyone has this problem before?

I've just finished testing my hard drive (took over 6 hours to do the extended test) and found no problems. Ran a chkdsk and checked the fragmentation (0 fragmented files). The hard drive is fine. The problem only started recently around the time when IOS reload blocking was implemented (I've been updating CIOS and cfgUSB with every new version [including betas] released). I guess it is just going to take hours and hours of testing to find the cause.

lol 5 pages of dumping progress but in the end it's like i suspected libwbfs gets confused if there are many partitions...
also thanks wiimm for the more detailed explanation
i guess this could be fixed in the loaders, is there a fixed libwbfs somewhere?
Makes me wonder if I should re-rip all my games 1:1.

Who knows, some of my rips could run into problems at some parts in the game.

This is probably not necessary because most games just have 2 partitions (update & game), and only a handful of games have more than 2 partitions (Brawl, games that install channels like mario kart, etc).
