Ok, started a last test with different games. All games are PAL and ran with default configuration, in main menu I pressed "Home", chose "Reset" and here are the results:

- Mario Kart Wii: works (=brings back to game main menu)
- Wii Play: works
- Wii Sports: works
- New Super Mario Bros Wii: works

Just tested all of th above listed PAL games with 249[56]v6beta1 and CFG v69b3 on a PAL Wii.
I can confirm that none of the mentioned problems occured.

"Block IOS Reload" was set to auto (CFG69b3) or manually to on.

When "Reset" was hit the games rebooted/restarted correctly (no hangs or black screens).
When "Wii menu" was hit all games returned correctly back to CFG through of. CFG forwarder.

But if you have D2X v6 beta 1 in slot 249, then run Amazing Race with cfg 222 (which I assume means it uses whatever IOS you have in slot 222, usually Hermes), I don't see how...

Maybe I don't understand something.

It's already fixed.
No, d2x v6 beta1 has the same ehci module included in d2x v4.
The fixed ehci module will be included in the upcoming d2x v6 final.

If damysteryman has not yet given you the source then you can find how to do it in WiiMod 2.6.
WiiMod applies the same patch described by damysteryman here.
Sources are included in the zip file. Just search for the string "korean".

After updating the installer with the korean key patch please contact airline38 and let him test it on his korean wii.

You said before reloading the ios some settings are written to the nand - per game. And each game requires some blocks. Will the data be deleted after reloading the ios? And thanks for v6 final! d2x is awesome!

Depending on the HDD, usb init process can be much slower than dvd init process.
Usually writing reload info to the nand is not time consuming, unless you have a highly fragmented HDD.

EDIT:
Also, ios reload is quite slow by nature even for original DVDs.
Just compare reset time for the original Wii Sports Resort (ios reload not forced) and Wii Party (ios reload forced).
