I just got a Wii from my friend which I softmodded with cIOS 249 and USB Loader CFG. The USB Loader doesn't boot anymore. So I tried the HDD on my Wii and it works. I formatted his SD and copied over all needed stuff, still USB Loader CFG freezes at that splash screen.

So I wanted to reinstall the cIOS 249. At the screen where you choose which IOS should be used, I choose 249 and it crashes. So my theory is that the cIOS somehow got damaged. So I tried the installer with IOS36, but I get a ret = -1035 error. I used the Trucha Bug Restorer to patch IOS36. But still the same error. Installing using IOS38 didn't work either.

Then I installed Hermes cIOS 222 using IOS38. That worked. But when I load the USB Loader CFG it looks for cIOS 249.

So anyone any ideas what I can do to get the USB Loader working again?

dunno about your 249, but to get CFG USB to work put "ios = 222-mload" inside your config.txt

You can use cIOS 222 to re-install cIOS249.

As I wrote I already tried using IOS36 and that didn't work. What is IOS250? Was that the backup of IOS249? If so than that should work! I'll try it later.

IOS 250 worked. How could I have forgotten that 250 is a backup of 249. Thanks [IMG]
