Hacking cios rev14 question

I have cios rev14 installed on a 4.2e wii as ios249 and got a truchabugged ios at 236,
i did not modify any ios myself,

but my question is,
during the ciosrev14 installation, did it modify any system ios or the system menu itself?


i have heard on cios revisions earlier then 14 made the disc chanel not work, it works on rev14, but i liked to know if it modifyed anything

The cIOS is a seperate IOS, so it doesn't modify any other IOS.

No it did not modify the system menu. cIOS rev14 installs as IOS249 (and IOS250). It makes no other changes to the wii.

ok thanks for that. i was a bit worried that it did when i read that the earlier versions of the cios mucked up the disc channel
