So I have a Cyclowiz and I have downgraded to 3.2U from 3.4U. Everything is working great and USBLoader_GX is running fine. Now I am trying to softmod my mom's Wii for her and I am so confused. On mine I am running CiOSv36rev10 and it works fine. I am reading that I should use rev9 for softmodding instead because it is more stable. But I am also reading that I should install IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad plus cios_fix.wad. Then apparently also IOS51 and WiiShop. I am also reading conflicting reports that I should install v222 or v249. I did none of this on mine. On mine I just installed rev10 then ran IOS Downgrader and then CiOS Downgrader to 3.2U and everything works. So which is it? What is the difference? Do I install all of them? I am planning on running Bannerbomb then HackMii to install BootMii and HBC. (it is not LU64) Then I thought I would install CiOS36Rev9 from HBC, then IOS Downgrader, then CiOS Downgrader just like I did on mine. But everything I read is from last year (with like 50 pages that lead to now) and people still claim to be doing it that way. 'That way' is installing IOS16-64-v257-prod.wad then cios_fix.wad with 'CustomWadManager16'. Then running IOS Downgrader then CiOS Downgrader. So then I would have v16? 64? 257? Then installing Gamma Loader v.03 for disc based backups and USBLoader_GX for hard drive backups. So what is with all of the numbers? Can anyone tell me what is up with all of this? Which way is right? Rev9? 222? 249? 16-64-257? IOS51?
