Hacking cios 249 remod 4.3

trying to remod 4.3 wii and whenever i try and do anything to cios 249 it locks up and doesnt connect to the controllers how do i resolve this

are you trying to use it to do something, or are you trying to remove it?

Use Dop-Mii and get a trucha'd IOS 36
then , using Dop-Mii, delete the IOS in the 249 slot.
Then use the cIOS installer using ios 36. That should do it.

your 249 was stubbed from the update

250 likely survived, so u can use 250 to reinstall ur 249

or, just use ModMii to rehack your wii as if it were a virgin, that will work for sure

Was anything wrong with the other topic?

Have you tried running a cIOS installer and select IOS250 to use?

Stubs can be removed with DOP-Mii, though that shouldn't be needed if your IOS250 works.
