I can't seem to get the SNEmulDS .6a to run Chrono Trigger. Can someone help me? I've tried changing the rom name to match the configuration settings... but I get to where Crono's mom wakes him up by saying Crono! 3X... but then it freezes.

Probably your rom. Re download and try it again. Also delete ur save so ur game starts completely fresh and new.

    Mine works fine.

Try disabling sound, or perhaps try using v0.5 Beta or something.

Said it before, will say it again (and I haven't even played the game)
Why is there not an emulator designed solely for optimal playback of this game? It's so well loved, it's hard to believe the powers that be didn't think to just release it for the DS for a lower price (14.99) or re-vamp it and charge FFIII price (39.99)

Odd.. You probably just got a bad dump.

As you can see in my Sig, I'm quite far into Chrono Trigger.

I beat Chrono Trigger in SnemulDS! Works well enough. The Magus fight was really hard to see properly, but I managed.

How do you manage? Would you mind giving me your settings during whichever situations?

it's almost impossible to see with normal BG modes. Change to BG mode 2. It corrupts the screen, but lets you see the sprites making it playable. You may have to uncheck automatic ordering. Make sure you change it back to normal after you do this.

I thought of it before too, people should make an emulator solely for one game so it works 100%, of course only when the game is very^popular but I think thousands of people would love to play Chrono Trigger on their DS.

I wonder how hard it would be to make a homebrew remake of Chrono Trigger. Maybe something like Tales of Dagur? ( http://www.talesofdagur.com/main/index.php )
They could probably even use the game and just make custom maps, sprites, etc. It IS open source.

Remove your Ez-Flash/whatever you have in Slot-2. Then report here.

I have no clue what else could be wrong [IMG]

Yes... I got through the Magus Fight about two days ago and it was a bit hard to fight. You just have to tweak the layers around a little.

He owned me the first time.. I came back and kicked him right in the ass. [IMG]
