Gaming Chrono Trigger Freeze?

Ok in my gamme
Whenever i go to that portal where the girl gets sucked in is my game just stays on that scene where you can see a big blue vortex that is covering the whole top screen.

I tried waiting but i waited too long, i waited for bout 10 minutes and it's stioll in the same damn blue vortex thingy.

what should i do or what can i do to fix this

im using the dstt firmware 1.16
and please don't redirect this post on there unless it's really neccesary

Download the newwest cheat db and use the piracy fix?
