If the PSP has been banned from games for too many activations (happened to me), you can try using MediaGo (official Sony program) on the PC to download the game and transfer it to the PSP.

Yeah, I tried using that. Even with 6.20 PRO-C, it detected that it wasn't the latest firmware.

@ZX, Thank you :) I'm assuming this goes into the seplugins folder?

yes i suppose...
just put the popsloader folder on your seplugins
then type this on pops.txt (make your own pops.txt if you dont have one)

ms0:/seplugins/popsloader/popsloader.prx 1

that's all....

Yeah, I tried using that. Even with 6.20 PRO-C, it detected that it wasn't the latest firmware.
Make a new file in /seplugins/ called usbversion.txt, and put this in it.

release:6.60:
build:5455,0,3,1,0:builder@vsh-build6
system:57716@release_660,0x06060010:
vsh:P6616@release_660,v58533@release_660,20110727:
target:1:WorldWide

Then go into the recovery menu (select on the main menu, recovery menu), and to advanced, and set "use usbversion.txt" to enabled. Then restart the PSP and try mediago.

Thanks, but I can't seem to find "use usbversion.txt". There is no .prx to go along with it?

Rydian, if you don't mind me asking, what CFW do you use?

and here is my usbversion.txt http://i.imgur.com/mG8Tf.jpg

And yes, i just realized that i made it usbversion.txt.txt, and I found "use usbversion.txt" in Configurations, not advanced. So, I enabled it, restarted the psp, and I still get the notification from media go that i have to update my psp

you named it "usbversion.txt.txt"

Fixed it to usbversion.txt

Update: It seems that when i restarted the psp (it restarted to OFW mode), the usbversion.txt got disabled again when i loaded the psp back to PRO-C mode...now i just simply need to figure out how to restart the psp to PRO-C mode

Awesome! I made progress! Media Go now detects it as 6.60 :DDD!!

However, now when i tried to copy over the game, I get "An error occurred during communication with the server. (80048A21)"

Imma check around other forums to see if there is a solution

UPDATE: Alright, according to this forum post http://community.eu....1/td-p/10690587 by installing and reinstalling Media Go, it should fix the error. However, I did so and nothing changed. I'm going to try restarting my computer.

Nah, that didn't work either :(

Hmph....my mom called and she told me to return the game, XDDD

But seriously, this has been driving me crazy!

At least Media Go thinks it's 6.60

Uhh 3.71 was the right pops to run chrono cross to me (custom built eboot). However I was using a 2g model back then. The PSN version should work just fine. Have you tried using a different popsloader package?? (it must be 6.xx too)

Also, pro-b is stable as hell when it comes down to pops loading. (from 6.20 to 6.39) tested on 2g/3g models
