the extensions are mainly used for altering the web, the apps are for... apps, you know they are just doing this to make the eventual release of chrome OS much more full-featured

i read that the idea behind this is that people dont trust indie developers with their money so this is google's solution to put indie games in the spotlight

seems to have been merged into the app store.

i don't like that it seems most apps are hosted online. I thought they were meant to be able to be offline, and if that were the case, the games i've tried to run would run faster, because it wouldn't be depending on my internet speed.
