Wiikey would be the way to go... assuming the legs aren't cut (you really need to open it up to find out). If you want a solderless solution - get a wii-clip.

If the legs are cut - get a Wasabi or D2Pro9. If you want to go solderless, wii-clip + d2pro9.

Not sure about places in the UK... OzModChips are pretty good though, and ship worldwide.

Have you tried wiitracker?

If you look at the wiidrives extra data it is only using 4 entries to calculate that...

I would open it up and see... you will have to open it to install it anyway.
