Hi! Question about update with Choi. I am on 2.53 an 5.1 cfw. How to know on which ofw is my switch? Is there a need to know that if i have to update to 6.2?

You kinda already answered your own question of what firmware version your OFW is currently in. And you need to update to play newer games, install later updates, and more recent DLC packs.

I newer log in to ofw, if i do update, do i update both of firmware with choi, how to do that? What if do something wrong is there a option to back to 5.1?

If you update SysNAND, it's updated. Doesn't matter if you boot with OFW or CFW.

I think you are confusing CFW with OFW. Both CFW and OFW have their own versions. Your OFW is the version displayed in system settings. Your CFW is the version of whatever CFW you are currently running which will depend if you're running SX OS, Atmosphere, ReiNX although since you said 2.5.3, I assume you're running SX OS. Unless you are referring to updating EmuNAND and SysNAND, then you can update one or both although most people typically update both. Either way, this homebrew application, ChoiDujourNX, allows you to update your firmware without burning fuses meaning it allows you to downgrade to your original firmware since fuses are designed to prevent downgrades (at least normally but for argument's sake, fuses for all intents and purposes prevent normal downgrades). If you ever want to downgrade in the future, you can either use ChoiDujourNX to downgrade your firmware version or restore a NAND backup of firmware 5.1 which includes boot0/boot1 as well as the eMMC raw GPP.

Switch updates are cumulative - which means you could even go from 1.0.0 to 8.0.1 w/o issues.

please please i need immidate help i think i screwed up my switch

my switch initailly was on 4.0.1 and took raw NAND backup and upgraded "Without buning fuses" to 7.0.1
recently i discovered i need the boot0 and boot1 which i didn't backup them or lost them to start using the new emunand by atmospher 0.9

so i have searched the fourm and someone was suggesting to downgrade back for the orignal 4.0.1 and then take a backup from the boot 0 and boot 1
so i downgraded using the homebrew app and then i removed the AutoRCM and Shutdown on complete
then i injected the hekate and went to do a boot0 and boot1 backup

after it finish i thought the enable back the autorcm but i found out it was already enabled (I WAS SHOCK)

i think i should let the console to reboot after the upgrade not to SHUTDOWN

i am afraid i am now stuck with a console with 4.0.1 firmware and 7.0.1 boot0 and boot1

now i dont know what to do or how to fix the console

as when i try to boot it throw hekate to load Atmospher it panic and shutdown

you can rebuild the nand from scatch but i do remember someone here had a guide to replace the boot1 boot0 files

Well if your fuse count is 9, you can update and your fuse count will remain the same but you will burn fuses if your fuse count is less when you update your SysNAND online.
