Chocobo no Fushigi na Dungeon is an role playing game for the Wonderswan.
It´s a remake of the PS1 title (that ALSO never received an English translation).
Now with a translation of the WonderSwan version, fans of the series can see where the Chocobo’s Mystery Dungeon series began!

this news deserves more attention. I have been waiting a translation of either version surfaced ever since I finished chocobo dungeon 2 ages ago.

Cool, I don't believe I have ever really emulated WonderSwan before, but plan to look into it after seeing this.

I've been waiting for a translation of this since I got 2 for PS1 in 2000. 20 years of waiting. I'm loving it, absolutely charmed, but I have to ask how to use the dispel potion? I'm equipped with a cursed saddle but the dispel potion in my inventory is grayed out.

I have been working on an FAQ/walkthrough based on this translation. I have tried to cover the same stuff the official Japanese manual does, and then go from there. The walkthrough is done for the first dungeon.

Late answer but the DispelDrink seems unreliable somehow (might need to be in inventory before cursed equipment is equipped.) Finding an equipment removal trap (black square on the dungeon floor) is a safer bet.
