Was there ever any design to touch certain parts of the touchpad like left side right side? Some games require it.

If anyone uses Chiaki on PC (which not only lets you stream PS4/PS5 to PC, but you can use PC controllers on PS4/PS5) I thought the old versions in the OP were all there were, but apparently they're still working on it. With autohotkey I was able to assign a keyboard key for each of my 3 consoles (2 PS4s and one PS5) and they launch just with hitting that one key, I also have 3 shortcuts one for each console. Pretty cool, and I was able to re-assign the touchpad to select on my PC controller, which is a Wii U Pro using Mayflash Magic adapter.

The main reason I'd rather use a Wii U Pro controller than a Dualshock 4 for example, is a Dualshock gives me about 3-5 hours before needed to be recharged, a Wii U Pro lasts 25-30 hours.

What about Chiaki on Switch??? Is there any possibility to make a shortcut button mapping for the touchpad of the dual sense??

(Bearing I am on docked mode) the screen Switch is off...so even if I touch the screen , it does not respond


Any way yo make any button of the joycons capable to get touchpad function of the dual sense????

Nope the switch version stopped being updated in like 2021. Only PC and Linux etc... are still being worked on.

You can't do it docked obviously but if you're playing in handheld mode you can touch the screen to get touchpad, that's the only way AFAIK.

Is there a way to write an email to Kkwong???


Maybe...he could set up in Chiaki app for switch a button key to make a shortcut to the touchpad function by pressing any Joycon button...

There should be a way to activate the touchpad by pressing a button...



Please anyone of you know someone who could do it???

I have these ports open, I've tested many ports, but it doesn't work. I don't think the problem is Port Fowarding, but perhaps some other setting on my router that I'm not aware of. At home, I can connect to my PS5 using my DDNS(Public IP), without using the Local IP, and it only works if the ports are open, but when I'm on another Wifi, it doesn't connect. I can't understand it, the app manages to use my Public IP to connect, but only at home.

I'm trying to connect to my PS4 with chiaki on my v2 switch and I keep getting error ce-35407-9.

Strange thing is I can connect using chiaki on my laptop fine using both local and remote connection. I can also connect using other streaming apps both locally and remotely.

I'm sure i've entered everything in the app correctly but it just wont connect. Any ideas as to what I can try? Thanks

Have you tried restarting the PS4? Restart it and retry before you do the exploit.

Have you been able to successfully connect at all between Switch and PS4? Another words is this initial setup or it was working and now it stopped?

Never connected before on the switch, this is initial setup.

I’ll restart it as you suggested. Not sure why I didn’t think of that myself but this is why I asked the question lol

Sorry I gave you bad advice, you have to do the exploit. GoldHen is what allows you to connect to Remote Play.

I can’t believe it but it worked lol. Over an hour of messing around for it to be a case of restarting the ps4. I really appreciate your help.

Next problem is I can’t work out how to delete the profile. I registered the ps4 with the name “default” and I’d like to change it but I can’t edit it and it doesn’t look like there’s an option to delete the profile.

You might have to edit the text document that's in Chiaki. You could ftp it to your computer or the old fashion way put your sd card in computer copy it there edit it and put the file back.

Hell nah, use a HB name VGEDIT, it's a homebrew notepad, very ez to use

Hello, I'm a new member. Can anyone tell me about the decoder latency when using Chiaki with a PS4? I saw KKwong's version that implements hardware acceleration, but it seems like it only works with the PS5 and the H.265 codec
