Nope.

Just set an static IP in your PS5 and connect to your public IP provided by your ISP.

This is also part of the process but you also have to turn on this option in the remote play app, I tested it here, now it works

Hi

Is there any new about Chiaki KKwong version for Switch?? Everyone takes It for granted that the inclusion of the haptic Rumble was so impressive, nevertheless there are some missing features such like


- Remap option for the (dual sense) TOUCHPAD using any phisical buttons (joycons or pro controller ) when we are playing in docked Mode.

- Set Up Bitrate streaming option.

Both of them are features claimed for all switch users , besides, bearing in mind that both are inplemented in all Chiaki versions for Windows/Linux/android devices...

Would It result extremely hard to be incorporated in KKwong Chiaki version??


What do you think??? IS there any chance for KKwong to reconsider It??

PD : regarding the TOUCHPAD Remap function, in the last pages of this thread another user commented the posibility to carry out this feature by pressing

L1 , R1 and + buttons

Could this work? (I do not have my switch with me at the moment)

For PC I used JoytoKey and mapped the Touchpad on PS4 (T key) to a button combo on my controller using JoytoKey. I also made a button combo (Select + X) where I can bring Chiaki into focus because I often play on the original console (I have both PS4 and PS5) and Chiaki let's me use a controller connected to PC on PS4/5 but if I'm browsing on my PC or doing something else I won't have Chiaki into focus but it won't let you pull up say a map in a game without it being in focus. So this way I don't have to stop what I'm doing bring Chiaki back up just to use the touchpad or pull up a map. I actually had to use a combination of Joytokey and AutoHotKey.

Is it normal to have occasional screen tearing and skips for PS5 on Switch that only lasts 1-2 seconds and happens randomly? I'm not sure how to stop it.

You could use SwitchRemotePlay app to stream your PC to your Switch and then use Chiaki PC, and then remap the touchpad using Joytokey. Not sure how good it would run though because you're streaming PS5 or PS4 to PC then to Switch. It would be better for the dev to program it into Chiaki Switch.

But one question why would you want to use Chiaki docked when you can just play on PS4 or PS5 natively on your TV? I thought the only point to using Chiaki Switch is to play in handheld mode.

You mean you're gaming on the PS4 or PS5 just using the PC controller connecting it to Chiaki? I do it all the time. But why do you need to cut the audio and video? I just let it play but tune into my PS4 or PS5's HDMI number.

But you shouldn't really have a lot of latency on Chiaki.

I have a xim Apex adapter and I would like to use it on the ps5 there is a group on the xim aoex that modified the chiaki oara just having a control input cutting the audio and video to remove the latency would it be possible to do this

I have a question myself is there any command lines I can use? I want to launch Chiaki on my PC using a combination of keys on my controller I would need to enter a keyboard shortcut on to joytokey, I can make the keyboard shortcut using AutoHotkey.

I don't just want the Chiaki application to open, I want my specific console (I have two PS4s and one PS5) to open upon keyboard and controller combinations.

The problem is the way Chiaki is designed if you have multiple consoles listed they are in no particular order and switch randomly. You'll wake PS5 then it'll disappear then come back in a different spot on the computer screen that you have to again click on it to start it on Chiaki. Wish it wasn't designed that way. Otherwise I could start PS4 or PS5 from my controller.

Chiaki or PSPlay modification:
You could modify or configure Chiaki (or even PSPlay) to simply not render the video. In Chiaki, for example, it would be possible to disable video rendering after the connection is established, keeping only the control input stream. This would save system resources and battery without needing extra devices.

My problem comes because my switch is located in a diferent part where I live, so I just use Chiaki on switch in docked Mode...

So imagine everytime I need to go to the touchpad menú of the dual sense, I need to undock the switch, touch the screen to activate the touchpad menú, and then I dock the switch again which results annoying...

Please any idea or possibility to include multy Keysor a way to do a shortcut of the touchpad????

No existe el baneo, pero cuando instales la magia asegúrate de activar el modo incógnito, consúltalo con cualquier instalador. Tu switch será indetectable.

Si, Chiaki en Switch va genial, en modo dock alcanza los 1080p (Si estas en modo dock) , asegúrate de entrar al hombrew channel pulsando r1 mientras elijes un juego para entrar ahi con toda la capacidad de la switch, de lo contrario entrarías en "applet mode" que es muy limitado (aparecen las letras en rojo cuando estás en dicho modo al entrar hombrew), esta máxima resolución si tienes ps5.

En la página 54 tienes el archivo, único hecho por Kkwong, que ha incluido compatibilidad con la vibración haptica de switch. Así los joycons vibran, si lo deseas.

Sobre jugar via remota, también se puede, pero debes toquetear algunos parámetros. No es difícil pero ahi ya no te puedo ayudar. Hay muchos video tutoriales. Yo no suelo necesitarlo porque para jugar en estreaming bien bien, mejor en casa con wifi. Si estas en la calle tienes todos los juegos de switch para disfrutar.

Imagino que sin el dock serán 720p no? obviamente para jugar en el Dock jugaría en la ps5, por lo que veo me recomiendas bastante más la switch que la PlayStation portal yo llevo como un mes dudando por varias cosas estoy acostumbrado a jugar con un mando de Play 5 veo que la portal no tiene mucha historia , conectar el wifi a jugar, y jugar fuera en la calle simplemente tienes que tener los puertos abiertos porque lo he probado en el móvil y me funciona en la aplicación PlayStation remote imagino que con chiaki y switch será lo mismo y la switch obviamente tengo que comprarla y llevarla a alguien a que me lo haga y he visto precios muy abusivos y claro fía te de enviarla pagarlo y que te la devuelvan correctamente eso es lo que me echa para atrás un poco porque realmente he visto algunas ya modificadas en wala por 370 y tal OLED, y también me crea dudas que supongo que las switch dos estará a la vuelta a la esquina tampoco sé si se podrá hacer lo mismo magia chiaki etc.
Y por otra parte la portal solo la voy a gastar para cuando el niño está viendo los dibujos , en cambio la suite puedo jugar con el niño con mi mujer a varios juegos a dobles y tal eso sí que me llama mucho la atención también gracias de antemano.

You need a hacked Switch to use Chiaki, and not all Switchs can be hacked easily. Some require a modchip. If you're worried about a ban on Switch you would have to set it up where you can boot into either legit firmware where you can only play legit games and no homebrew such as Chiaki but also be able to set up custom firmware where you can play backups and use Chiaki.
