Homebrew Check Mii Out channel brought back by Youtuber / Temper

Last week I posted a topic about Temper and YouTuber @Eridion kiorai teasing the comeback of a dead Wii channel. Today, the user has confirmed in a new video that it is indeed a Wii channel, and more specifically, the "Check Mii Out" channel.

The channel originally launched back in 2007, and it was a way for Wii users to share their Miis and have popularity contests with them.Without a doubt, a much needed service for the Wii.

This channel, along with the other 4 Wii channels, was shut down on June 28 2013.

As can be seen in the video, development is supposedly lead by "see mock day hopefully Jun...", also known as shutterbug2000, while Eridion Kiorai seems to be handling the PR for the project.

The channel is slated for a June 1 release.

Eridion expressed affection for the RiiConnect24 Discord by stating "I like this community" in the video. The Discord channel seems to be the main hub for the project to bring the channel back.

I reached out to @Eridion kiorai for more information about the project, but he has not gotten back to me yet.

As a developer myself for RiiConnect24 and involved with the CMOC development he's talking about, I can tell you that it's really unlikely it will release on June 1st. Sorry. @Eridion kiorai is not working on this, even though he's trying by himself, he's not getting very far. He does not represent any sort of PR for us.

The whole June 1st thing was spread around by the developer who has been working on it, Shutterbug. However this rate I don't think it'll be released on that date, he's probably busy with other stuff because there's been nothing new in the past week.

@FANDROID_SWIMBOIS, I do not appreciate you spreading information like this. @Eridion kiorai is known by many as an idiot.
