Hi there, I recently download a game and I'm not sure what region it is (I want it to be NTSC, but it could be PAL or J). My question is, can I check the region of the game before I waste 2 days to download the entire thing? The file is split into around 40 parts, so is there a way I can check the region with just 1 part?

If it helps, there's an "X" after the name of the game.

I don't think there is a way. Can't you tell from the filename? usually the region is on there if not try getting it from another source that tells you the region. or you can just download it and hope it is the right region.

problem with that is that so many people will list it as PAL even if its NTSC or vice versa

Thanks for trying to help, but I searched around and apparently it is a PAL game, so damn.
If anyone cares, this is where I found out. I do find it strange that this is the only game to have an (X) after it.

your not gonna brick your wii by playing backups of other regions.....
Just dont do a disc update with it, which, if your loading it from a backup loader, it skips the disc updates anyways.........

I thought X lettered games where EU (PAL) multi 6 instead of multi 5

have to agree NTSC/NTSC-J games can run on PAL and vice versa without any problems on the right backup loaders, just don't do a disk update.

and if you rly want to be safe run it thru good old regionfrii to change the ISO regio, has worked for me all the time back in the days
