Hacking Cheats on Wood R4 for M3?

where do i put them, which set of cheats, and how do i activate them? I dont know if this is the right place to ask.

usrcheat.dat goes in the /_rpg/ or /_rpg/cheats/ folder, press X/Y when highlighting a ROM to access the properties, cheats option is in there.
