Hacking Cheats on R4

Hello guys,

I've downloaded the latest cheat database, although my cheats aren't showing up anymore. (Only first 50% of games showing cheats). I've read something about YSmenu which should fix it? But the r4.bat says I have to download YSmenu myself due to license problems. But the website is japanese so I can't understand a sh*t of it, so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Anyways, yes, YSmenu is an option. However, if you looked at the cheat thread more thoroughly, you would have found another solution. Get the R4cce [Cheat Code Editor] from the cheat compilation thread and you can edit/delete the games yourself. Deleting a vast amount of games you don't care about (Imagine: Fashion Designer, etc) will free up the cheat.dat, reading less games, therefore making the R4 reading the cheat files you want.

EDIT: You sure you want to use unofficial firmware on an original R4?

I'll try out the R4cce. The unofficial stuff sucks, as it makes my games soo much slower.. :-(
