I remember playing this game. Is there a need to cheat? I can't remember. It's too big for me to want to look and then find out that I don't want to play it again just to see if there is any need for cheat. I guess you don't know too and just don't want to play game without cheat? I guess Nintendo is going to miss your business.

PS: I didn't know there is such a thing as read speed requirement. Did not know Switch can read from SD that fast either. I always thought Switch is just a very slow machine as far as ability to read is concerned.

I just remember that the game was not bad(and also not the best) at the time I play it. Perhaps you want to try without cheat if that is what's stopping you.

So I picked up the three in one Ty game cartridge today and the only difference was Ty 4 was an update newer than digital copy. But there is a shift in main that is not present in main nso alone... the shift is small to get matching updated code offset in main.nso but when you are in game its a further shift due to game module space being used by 3 games. So i had to manually find my offsets again whilst in game.

Not sure how many of you guys actually play these games or will be even picking up this cartridge but I did and figured I would update this.

Currently, it is bugged between the cartridge and digital version. If you've inserted the cartridge and then switched back to digital copy, it will ask for you to update to a version that doesnt exist. I have already submitted the bug report to the developers via my portal. Should expect an update 1.0.3 for digital to version match and fix the lock out on digital copy.

Tldr; if you don't have the cartridge, don't worry about the lockout. It wont affect you.

Alright we got a fix out for digital versions to match 1.0.3 same build ID which does resolve the digital lockout.

For the digital version of the game, if it does not automatically open the software update popup when you try to launch TY4, you could please go in to ‘Options’ for the game on the Switch Home menu (+ button), then go to ‘Software Update’ and select ‘Via the Internet’ it should apply the update.
