Hacking Channel deleting/installing question

So I've been installing/deleting random channels, VC games etc and there's a blank spot or two on the main Wii screen where a deleted channel was - can these be removed? Do they automatically fill?

Just put another another channel on that spot. Put the cursor over a channel and hold a+b and you can move it wherever you want.
