    This a help topic.

This weekend, I'm beginning the second ROM Hack of Los Memes for Sun and Moon.

Whenever I change the music in the sound folder, some tracks remain as the original track. Some change and some use another track. Can someone tell me why this happens and how I can use the custom music without the game reverting it?

I'm trying to get custom music to play in general and it isn't changing at all, even after I change the file name and convert it to a BCSTM file. How did u do it?

It's not. Just time consuming. And this only works if you have CFW.

CFW means custom firmware. What guide did you follow to hack your system?

That's the Homebrew entrypoint. What was the name of the guide you used to install custom firmware on your device?

I tried using this converter called the Looping Audio Converter and it converted the music to WAV by selection and then to BCSTM. It worked for all of tracks I changed.

First of all, if you downloaded the 1.1 update, you have to patch the code.bin from the update. Find the update as a decrypted CIA, then follow my instructions above to extract the CIA contents and get the code.bin. Then follow my instructions to patch the code.bin and put it in the correct location on your SD card, but patch it using one of the IPS patches I made here.

Second of all, read my tips suggestion to find out what to do after step 10. If you followed my instructions that I posted earlier (not in this post), you should have extracted the contents of Sun/Moon, so you'll have the music files found in ExtractedRomFS/data/sound. After you replace the sound files, you want to follow this folder structure: SD:/saltysd/SunMoon/data/sound.

I was also wondering if I could copy only the one I've downloaded(and renamed) to /////sounds?
Or should I copy everything? Thanks!

If you only want custom music, only transfer the renamed .bcstms to saltysd/SunMoon/data/sound.

That's because you need to get the decrypted CIA for v1.2.

Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, but I've looked for days on end with no solution.
