Hacking Change save file IDs?

I had to change the game IDs of my custom guitar hero files so I could put them all onto my hdd without wii backup manager making a fuss about the identical IDs. Everything works fine now, except now I have to create new save files for the customs and unlock all the songs I had already unlocked. Is there a way to copy the original guitar hero save file to an sd card then somehow edit it and copy it back to the wii memory so that when the custom loads through cfg, the game reads the save file that has the stuff unlocked? Any help is much appreciated, thank you!
