Hardware Change console region of JP Wii U to US

Hi,

Is there a way to change console region of JP Wii U to US to enable playing US games?

Currently, I have haxchi on the system, but when I try to install US games via WUP, e.g. Mario Kart 8 with DLC and updates on HDD, it freezes in the title screen. Some titles like Super Mario Maker can't play, while Pokken is showing Japanese text.
