Hacking CFW on o3ds v4.1.0-0E with no browser or flashcard?

I don't know if this is the right place to post this but here goes.

I have an old 3DS with no internet browser and no flashcard, it's running ver. 4.1.0-0E.
Is there anyway to install cfw on this without buying a flashcard?
If I need a flashcard would the R4i 3DS Gold Pro card work for installing RxTools?

You will need a flashcard. That card will work based on what I've read. Pretty much any ~2013 R4 will work with 4.1 firmware.
You probably already know this but don't update your 3DS with a cartridge!

If it's a EU console he should update to 4.5 with a game (since Gateway downgrades an EU console to 4.5 instead of the lower 4.x used for US consoles) and use MSET entry point for GW, then make an emunand and then install cakeCFW or rxTools and boot it throu MSET, no browser needed then and then he has CFW
(Just a DS flashcard to install the mset exploit, first for GW, then for CakeCFW/rxTools)

You can't, you need a ds flashcart at least.

Have you got o3DS or o3DS XL (LL)?
The easyest way is update 4.5 or less with a game or install rxtools, cake or other with flashcart.

With Hardmod but is difficult without materials (soldering iron, wires, magnifying glass, iron flux...)

Well you need a flash card, so install mset, then launch gw launcher and make a nand dump

a ds flashcard is probably about the same price......he could even ask around to borrow one for 5 mins, install mset, then install the browser manually and not need the NDS flashcard again, then update to 9.2 and use themehax with spider as his backup
