Yep they are all the same installing Custom Firmware to it should not mather.
(If you know 100% sure you PSP is hackable.)
As mentioned above some PSP`s are not hackable.
To see what PSP`s are hackable check this list:
http://pspslimhacks.com/wp-content/uploads...kablepsps-1.png
As you see at all 100x models are hackable aswell as most 200x models.
Some 200x and all 300x are unable to take full Custom Firmware.
And will brick when flashing a full Custom Firmware to it.
For these PSP`s we have so called: Custom Firmware Enablers. (5.03 GEN-A.)
Great enabler the only downside is that your PSP must be on firmware 5.03 or lower to take advantage of the exploit.
And ofcourse that everytime you fully shut off your PSP you must re-enable the enabler.
To be sure or your PSP is hackable you should match it with the list.
If you have a 200x or 300x model its highly recommended to update to 5.03 and run PSPident.
This little app will tell you what type of motherboard is located in your PSP.
(Which you then match to the list of the hackable PSP`s)
Another way to see if it is fully hackable is inserting a pandora battery into it and see if the light comes on.
If so the PSP can be installed with full CFW - If not the PSP needs a CFW Enabler.
Like said above it does not mather where your PSP came from installing CFW or CFW Enabler to it does not differ when doing it to a EU or USA one.
