    PSP 1001 PHAT 5.00M33-6 (TA-082 motherboard)
    PSP 1001 PHAT 5.00M33-6 (TA-079 v1 motherboard)

I want to update to a newer CFW on both.So heres what Im looking for:

    1) Someone who is releasing reliable firmware with the least instances of crashing, and remains stable throughout most common tasks

    2) has all the SONY updates included in 6.60 or as close to it as possible

    3) Highest compatibility with older plugins, homebrew, and 1.50 KERNEL

Please add any other opinions on the Current Custom Firmware out there. Someone must have stepped up to take Dark Alex's place by now

You don't need 1.50 kernal for most homebrew these days. Most have either updated past it or had some better program replace it. I'd suggest whatever the latest CFW was.

And no, still no DAX replacement. Team GEN looked promising for a bit, but their coding was crap compared to DAX and they quit shortly after starting.

Given that you don't spell Kernel correctly i'm guessing you don't use 1.50 for much.

Just update to 6.60PROB9 and be happy.
