Also a tried the alternate dol trick, the video started normally, but when I select to go back to the game, it resets to the Wrist strap screen screen, disconnects my Wii Remote and get stuck on a black screen

Hello,

start by reinstalling your cios correctly (with bases 56 and 57) like this tutorial ==>CIOS guide

if that does not work with version 10 beta 52 you can always reinstall the version of CIOS v8 final with Modmii from @XFlak ,(which I greet in passing)

did you try to reformat your sd card and test or test another sd card if you can?

EDIT/

try this:

Note that the Wii Motion Plus is MANDATORY.

This game works on an IOS 56 basis.

Select The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword.

- Go to the game options (when you are in your Loader)

- Set the game so as to use the location reserved for the desired cIOS (the one where you installed your d2x v8 base 56 or your d2xv10 beta 52).

- Activate the option "Block IOS Reload" or "Block IOS loading".

- Save the settings.

- Launch Your Game and have a good time!

Edit2:

here are my game parameters (Legend of Zelda Skyward sword) with Configurable loader 78.11:

language ==> default
video ==> default
video fix ==> disable
vidtv ==> disable
country setting ==> deactivate
IOS ==> 249 or 250 (depending on your installed cios)
IOS reload block ==> activate
alternative dol ==> player dol
anti 002 setting ==> activate
ocarina ==> disable

Ok, solved!
Downloaded the game for the third time, and this time, it boots.

Apparently, the last 3 times I was unlucky to get a bad ISO. it worked on iso 249
