Equipped with 270MG of caffeine. Celsius is a sparkling energy drink claiming energy plus performance as well as being zero sugar. They make a bold claim in the healthier alternative. So let's try it out.
The actual taste reminds me of a sweet tart with a decent cherry lime taste. I can tolerate this at room tempature probably more better at cold temps as most drinks are. The carbination is seldom which is a good compliment from the soda like energy drinks. With its bold claims of being healthier let's look at the ingredients.
Some added vitamins as well as calcium. It doesn't really taste healthier than others but at 10 calories it's not as awful as some I've seen being in the upper 90s.
My usual go to is Rockstar strawberry whipped. It gives me enough energy as needed at around 200MG caffeine. But at 280 calories Celsius is looking like the better option.
Let's look at the price difference.
Ro star can be around $2.50 a can where as Celsius is about $1.99 per can. Only a 50c difference but with the calories being so different Celsius is looking like the winner.
So will I buy this again? Probably. I'll probably not stop buying Rockstar either depending on the mood of taste. Celsius is looking like the clear winner. I'm not huge on Monster, redbull, C4 or other alternatives.
Overall 7/10 I'd buy again and try other flavors.
