CD writer issues...

Recently I'm having this problem where my CD writer won't write anything anymore. CloneCD will never get past the Leadin part and Nero will stop and show an error right before it starts the burning process. This never happened before. Anyone have any clues? Thanks in advance.

Gah... I never know how to solve problems... I dunno, starforce and its related copy protection buddies that install burner killing drivers on your computer?

How old is it? Any recent damage? Can you burn things with other OSs? Can it read disks fine? Does it work with other types of CDs? (RW, different brands of R/RW)
