After a fair bit of teasing, SEGA has finally released Atlus's cult puzzle-RPG Catherine onto Steam. To differentiate from Japan's upcoming Catherine: Full Body remake, the PC port is called Catherine Classic, and consists of the same game that released on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in 2011. Featuring music from Persona series composer Shoji Meguro, and character design done by Shigenori Soejima, Catherine Classic is a game that puts you in the shoes of a man named Vincent, who must make his way through crumbling towers in his dreams in order to figure out the insanity that his life has taken on. Offering an unlocked framerate, and support for up to 4K, this marks Atlus's first foray into porting their games to the PC platform. You can buy it now for $19.99.

Gonna grab this as soon as I can, hope it's not a buggy mess like some ports are nowadays, I believe in you Atlus!

What are you even talking about? What's bad about a port of an amazing game? The original WAS a great game, if you played it, you'd know that.

It's nice seeing this game get released on PC! Now if only another Atlus were to port a certain fighting game, with would be ultimate.

One of the worst popular games of all time. Among the most transphobic and sexist too.

I loved this game. I can't wait for the enhanced port!

Hopefully we see some cool mods out of this one.

Obsolete doesn't mean bad, so it's not antipodus to being 'amazing'.

It's nice that they've finally released the game on pc.
But now when there's an upcoming enhanced version of the game coming up that features more content, even a new girl.
Makes me want to skip the pc version in favour of picking up the new game instead.

Ahh, Smash Ultimate I see. Yes, that game does need a PC port for considering how old and decrepit this game looks.

    I’m joking by the way.

the problem is the remastered deluxe version that has a new freaking girl in it, releases February 14, 2019 and just a month shy of that date pc gets this garbo. a total skip for me

You DO realize this version of the game has close to 80 hours worth of gameplay, right? Just because you get an extra story branch in the new one, it doesn't mean this is a bad game...

So much whining. Frankly I'd rather have the classic version at $20 than the 'Full Body' remake at the $60 they're likely to charge for it. More Atlus on PC can't ever be a bad thing.

never said it was a bad game. just that it's a slap in the face. i own the ps3 and 360 versions. i was going to buy full body. since its not coming to steam i'm forced to get the ps4 version. i have no intentions of supporting a "classic version" Even if its on my preferred platform if its releasing A MONTH BEFORE A SUPERIOR VERESION!
