Hardware Catastrophic Wii Hardware Fail.

Hello, i have had problems with My flatmii.

I was working on teh Driver software on vista x64 then bzzzttt

|then|

My T.V., Computer, Wii (partly) go rofl, rofl, DIED.

so today i got a new TV and sent the Computer to staples.

But i think i can salvage the wii

the sound works, i can connect with the wii controllers, rumble works, channels launch.

The only problem:

No video.

managed to load homebrew channel.

and help here, I am willing to take hole wii apart

i had isolated the hole flatmii so |hopefully| no short circuits.

nope, the power did not go out, i'm thinking power surge.

The video circuitry was probably fried. No one can save that Wii except Nintendo.

It's nothing you can solve thru Homebrew. It's a hardware fail.

Honestly, I don't know. I guess you could just say it was working normally, then it stopped displaying the video. And obviously hope that they don't notice the homebrews on your Wii!

should be about $100 if they don't detect that you modified the console. if they detect it you could even by a new one. they'll charge you about $300 to repair a modified console: http://hackmii.com/2009/04/warranty/
