Gaming Castlevania Portrait of Ruin... fixed?

I know many people complained about the game freezing on the M3 and other carts. Has there been a fix for this yet? I played it for a while until it started freezing so I took it off my cart hoping that it would be fixed soon so that i could play it. If now, I will probably just buy it since I liked what i played so far.

No fix atm, as far as I know the game work flawless with certain brand of sd cards, and runs like crap with others.

It works on kingston SD card, not san disk.

Thats not strictly true as I played through the game on SC Lite using a 1GB sandisk transflash with no problems at all. Same card would crash on m3 lite. Havn't had chance to test it on m3 simply yet.

as far as i know it only works with supercard lite or supercard CF if you use a high speed card (probably works fine on slot 1 cards too) not sure about other brands tho

some say it works on EZ4lite but I get random lock ups very often with my EZ4... which is very sad.
