I'm glad they went back to the more impressive bosses......that was my only complaint with Portrait of Ruin......well that and the crashing on flashcarts, har, har.

Damn this does look quite special! I had it down as just another Castlevania game, was worried that the series would become stale but yeah this looks great and there are some nice new elements to it.

Fantastic trailer. Can't wait for my Castleroid fix [IMG]

It seems it will have more different environments which is a great improvement.

Its suppose to take place after Symphony of the Night & Order of Shadow so I'm guessing after 1797.

Oooh, I like that era [IMG] I mean the style and such.
The only concern the video gave me was: Will all the bossfights use that fly-to-me-orb?

wow, I like where this is going. That trailer looks awesome. Thanks for the link. [IMG]

Guess I better block off over 100 hours in December.

@ Cyan: It's set in the mid-1800's according to early reports.

[Edit] The only thing I'm not a big fan of so far is the main character talking while she executes a move (towards the end of the trailer). The last thing I need is more chicks talking to me while I'm trying to play a game.

    Thank you for the date.

I don't know "order of shadow", Is that "1844 : Castlevania - Legacy of Darkness" ?
That's fine if it's 18xx as the 3 games in that range has been canceled for the storyline.

I'm maintaining the chronology on the french wikipedia, I'll wait to have more info before adding it to the list.

I just hope the opening cut-scene to the game works on flash carts unlike PoR.
