Following the success of the previous seasons of the Castlevania series on Netflix, the latest iteration "Castlevania: Nocturne" was green-lit for a second season, premiering on January 2025.

Based on the events and story of the Turbografx-16 title, Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, the 1st season's plot of "Castlevania: Nocturne" is set on France during the revolution, revolving around Richter Belmont and the struggle of his family's legacy, alongside the witch Maria Renard and her powers to summon familiars, as they witness the rise of the power hungry vampire Erzebeth Báthory.

Season 2 continues the story of the first season, seeing the introduction of the legendary dhampir son of Count Dracula, Alucard, into the plot, joining forces with Richter and Maria to stop Erzebeth before she obtains the power of a goddess to submerge the whole world into eternal darkness.

The darkest battles lie ahead. Castlevania: Nocturne Season 2 premieres January 2025, only on Netflix.
