Castlevania: DoS is the only game that has this problem so far.
I've backed up other saves to hard disk and then copied it to the microSD back with no problems.
However, this is what I did:
I backed up the save for DoS to my hard disk by copying the .dat file.
Then I traded souls with my friend (gave him all my souls, ALL of them). I figure i can copy the save from the hard disk back.
I copied the save from the hard disk back to the DS; but my souls are still missing!. I've even tried copying via M3 Saver Manager rather than directly copying from the hard disk.
I've even tried copying the entire memory card contents to a temp directory on my hard disk, then trading souls, then copying from hard disk back to microSD, however my souls are still gone! Does DoS save your soul content information on the DS itself somewhere???
