Hello!

I am personally want to know if Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow INTRO lags or not.

Please test it with your microSD, then post the results! (Lags or not lags, and the microSD's brand/capacity/format type!)

Thanks all!

No obvious slow downs on my 1gb Toshiba (Japan). I'm not sure what the read\write speed is, but so far I have no complaints.

Also its worth noting that this tf was only £14ish off moby memory!

So this confirms the fact that all microSD's are good?

Kingston 1GB (Made in Japan, with a M3 Simply) No lag whatsoever. The cutscene and gameplay are the same as when i use my original Castlevania DoS cartridge.

R4 (Converted to M3 Simply) running 1.01FW

Sandisk 2GB TF card made in Taiwan.

FAT32 (Default Allocation)

No lag whatsoever, and it's worth mentioning that PoR doesn't freeze either.

The only known game that has issues is Tony Hawk Downhill Jam. It has some slowdown. Based on the game's race timer, it running about 80% of full speed. See thread here at gabtemp about it.

Kingston 1GB (Taiwan)
FAT32 (default) & FAT16 (64k)

A slight jitter at one specific point during the intro.

Slight jitter about 5/8s of the way through for about 3 seconds. Sound perfect. I LOVE these intros.

however, do not get this card as 90% of saves don't like to work.

1GB Xstore, works fine. Only prob i've had in Cv:DOS is with the Imps if they get right above your head the game seems to simulate continual button presses, if you smush all the keys simultaneously it normally fixes the prob. Mildly annoying tho.

Those mischievious imps have been doing that since Castlevania: Symphony of the Night. : P'

That's one of their moves; the make you keep attacking until you shake them off. haha
