I have a problem with my M3 adapter that I'm using with Pascard 3 on my NDS Lite. I have a SanDisk 512mb MicroSD formated in FAT.

I'n not able to start any games from memory card, not GBA or NDS games.
When I try to flash it with the file 'updagcsd.e28', I only get this strange message:

"Please use English version update file for this card. Update file
language verson error!"

I am using the English version of the file, I have tried several files.
Two of my friends has reported successfuly flashings of their NDS but if I try the same flash file and doing exactly the same things to flash, I still get that message.

I have tried to format it in FAT32, but no luck.

I've already tried to update in GBA mode. Same results...

If you mean taking the Passcard3 out, manually choose "GBA game" and then press start for the update when prompted?

I'm pretty positive that my M3 adapter is English because I bought it last week from an online store here in Sweden.
Ofcourse, there may be a wrong version from the shop.
Is there any way to tell witch version of the M3 adapter you have?

A funny thing is that my friend bought exactly the same things from the same store at the same time, he had similar problems starting games, until he updated. The update was no problems for him.

I will try the Chinese update as soon as the file is downloaded.

The chinese update was (luckily) no success.
Same thing there, it says it wan's the English file.

I don't think the firmware update file is corrupted or fake, I've tried to download it several times, I've also tried about 4 different files (same file, but from different sources on the net).
I've also tried the .e26 file that came on the cd with the M3 adapter.

Do you think it's possible that I could have got a broken adapter?

I have the same problem, I have updated in the past with the English firmware, but the newest one, says its the wrong language. Its very strange.

Edit: I formatted the card, and put the update on again, and it worked fine.

sounds lie the update file may have gotten corrupted while you transferred it over to your sd card, I would reformat the sd card and put the update file back on and make sure you safely eject/remove the sd device before taking it out of your card reader. Then try to update.

Alright guys... Problem sort of solved.

Tried the new version, V29 and tried it with my card reader on my laptop instead of the SanDisk ImageMate 12 in 1 and it worked out just fine.

Either the file was corrupted or the external SanDisk card reader sucks ass.
I will try a bit more to find out witch one and reply here later.

Thanks for taking time trying to help me.

Yep, seems like it was my card reader that was causing the problem.
Now when I got things working, I can transfer files with the card reader in my laptop and get it to work, but the same files transferd with my SanDisk card reader doesn't work.
