Hacking Can't update Rei 9.2 U to Rei 10.7 U

The title says it all.

I've tried about 30 times now in system settings and I'm at a lost this was pretty much the last thing I had to do any idea what could be wrong?

What error do you have? What happens if you try to update it there?

An error has occurred
Unable to update.

The system will now be restarted.

Then it reboots into ctrbootmanager with menuhax.

Check on that chaos site or that iso site

Input that [Change the Region and O/N3DS if you need]

Then just place them in SDROOT:/Updates/ and run sysupdater

Pretty much. How far does the update get before it fails? Do you have the anti-Nintendo DNS in place?

Do you have HBL cia on your EmuNAND? If not install it using FBI or DevMenu and run it. Then run sysupdater.
Tbh I suggest you make a backup of both emu and sys nands first.

Pretty much one blue bar it gets stuck there for eternity and then fails.

If you don't know what I mean, you probably don't have it set up in your internet settings. It's not really needed for A9LH anyway, but I have it on my emuNAND for GW. It's a DNS address that blocks updates from Nintendo.

Already backed up my sysNAND will back up my emuNand now.

Okay backed up emuNand installed the 10.7 n3ds update on the root of my sd card installed the HBL cia on my emuNand launched it and it booted back into crtbootmanager is it still okay to launch the homebrewmenu and then sysupdater from there?

Install sysupdater.cia and then run directly from the homemenu in emunand.

Running sysupdater from HBL is not as stable as directly from homemenu.

Hey I had the same error while I was trying to downgrade to 2.1.0U. Just switch to Cakes FW from ReiNand, that fixed my sysupdater problem. Also AuReiNand with arm9 + Updated sysNand is 10X better then Menuhax + ReiNand + Emunand.

That's because ReiNAND blocks NATIVE_FIRM from being updated. Use CakesFW to circumvent this.

As it stands right now in both sysNand and reiNand I'm in 9.2 I figured if I'm switching over to cakes I might as well completely set up arm9lh.


Edit:Wtf?! lol I put my 3ds to sleep mode while in emunand I open it and it tells me it's ready to update I canceled it went to system update to see I was still in 9.2 rei
tried to update got error restarted booted reinand in CRT boot manager says preparing home menu and then the themes menu pop up went into system setting again and now I'm in Rei 10.7.0-32U.
