Cant tell if wii is low level bricked

I recently received a wii for free this week, and was carelessly going through the process of modding it. Foolishly, I didn't make a nand backup or install bootmii or priiloader, since I had modded many wiis before and was not worried about bricking. I accidentally installed a ndev menu (for some reason the wad was on an old sd card i was using). The wii would still boot into a game, so I decided to grab my copy of brawl and do the exploit to restore my system menu. I came back with the disk and turned on the wii and now it just gives me a black screen. I can still turn it on via the remote, but i cant get the remote to connect otherwise. Is there something I have to do to activate the ndev menu again? Anyway, I guess this I what I deserve for being careless.

probably not possible to restore via normal ways

try using ohneschwanzenegger (or a wii menu .app creator)

edit:also dont be too sure it wont brick always backup

Not much you can do honestly, maybe try booting into priiloader if you have that installed and booting from there... otherwise your console just turned into a fancy paperweight.

It's probably not worth your time fixing anyway. Just sell it as a brick for spare parts.
